AMPLIFY Season 4 puts the future of Black Canadian entertainment front and centre

Season 4 of AMPLIFY, the visual podcast series from ADVANCE, Canada's Black Music Business Collective, launched April 29 with twelve new episodes and a sharper focus than ever. The theme this season is "The Future of the Entertainment Business," and the guest list, topics, and hosting team all back it up.

The new season picks up where three successful runs left off, but pushes further into territory that feels urgent right now. Under the banner "The Future of the Entertainment Business," Season 4 broadens its lens to include perspectives from across the African and Caribbean diaspora, foregrounding the diversity of voices that have always shaped Canada's music and media landscape, even when the industry failed to acknowledge them. With 12 episodes scheduled to drop every Wednesday at 6 PM ET, AMPLIFY is building a weekly rhythm around conversations that matter.

A hosting duo ready for the moment

Season 4 introduces a fresh presenting team. Lifestyle creator and host Alicia "Ace" West joins content creator Tresor Gray to guide listeners through each episode. Their combined energy brings both accessibility and cultural fluency to the series, making complex industry conversations feel like a natural exchange between people who genuinely care about the subject.
